Cougar Point after the fire

Cougar Point overlooks the Fraser canyon from 4,400 feet above sea level. The Fraser river below is 880 feet above sea level making this location what we call the Grand Canyon of the North. Before the fire it would have ranked high amongst the worlds best scenery.

Last night Nan and I left with Glen to see what the fire had done to this beautiful spot; Glen warned us beforehand that it would make us feel sad – it did!

  1. I have seen that location in better times! Sad to see the devastation! Thanks for the report and update on conditions in the area.

Yes, a beautiful spot; we are so fortunate that Echo Valley Ranch & Spa was spared by Mother Nature, from our location one can not tell that a fire raged over the mountains.
